The F/LIST Feistritztallauf celebrates its 7th edition
On the national holiday, the 7th F/LIST Feistritztallauf attracts over 800 athletes from the region and all over Austria. Amidst the picturesque Wechselland scenery, the running event attracts runners with various running competitions, including a half marathon, 10 km and 5 km run and Nordic walking (10 km) as well as three runs for the youngest athletes.
"Running is more than just sport. It's a journey where we not only push our physical limits, but also discover our inner potential. With the F/LIST Feistritztallauf, we create memories every year, break barriers and shape stories that inspire for a lifetime," explains Hermann Steinacher, F/LIST Feistritztallauf organizer and TimeResult founder. October 26 is an annual fixture in the running community. In 2023, the popular F/LIST Feistritztallauf will be celebrating its 7th edition.
In addition to the classic half marathon, 5km and 10km distances, there is also a Nordic walking competition. This year there are also three children's races over 200, 400 and 800 meters. Traditionally the longest distance is the half marathon, which attracts more than half of the participants and runs along the Feistritztal cycle path through the municipalities of Otterthal, Kirchberg and Feistritz to the finish area in Thomasberg.
The running event is an experience for young and old
Katharina List-Nagl, CEO of F/LIST, is delighted to be supporting the event again this year: " As the main sponsor of the Feistritztallauf, we as a company are delighted to support the participants every year and encourage their passion. We firmly believe that sport brings people together. We look forward to experiencing this exciting day with them and pushing the limits together."
Participants are offered a wide range of services: from runners' starter bags to a shuttle service from the F/LIST parking lots to the start and massages at the finish. A colorful supporting program with childcare, music and refreshments round off the event and make it an experience for young and old.
