F/LIST designs the new interior of the Airbus ACH140 helicopter

F/LIST is proud to be an important partner in the development of a new icon: the ACH140, the latest aircraft in the Airbus Corporate Helicopters (ACH) line, which was unveiled at Verticon 2026. The new helicopter is aimed at customers in the private and business aviation sectors and presents a new design line for the ACH product family.

While the aircraft itself attracts a great deal of attention, one of the striking interior elements comes from F/LIST. The company designed and manufactured a custom-made cabinet for the cabin of the ACH140.

F/LIST's custom-designed console for the new ACH140 interior brings sculptural lines and
elegant luxury details to the helicopter market.

The cabinet plays a central role in the architectural design of the interior, combining high-quality materials, ergonomic design, and the craftsmanship that has made F/LIST a reliable partner for premium aircraft interiors.

Developed in close collaboration with Airbus and as part of the ACH Line interior concept, the cabinet supports the helicopter's new design language with elongated lines and ergonomic design elements within an exceptional cabin space. The result is a high-quality passenger experience tailored specifically to discerning customers in private and business aviation.

The cabinet developed for the Airbus Helicopters ACH140 features a body with an elegant, silk-matt black lacquer finish. Two functional drawers with a dark gray textured surface underscore the balance between aesthetics and functionality.

A particular highlight are the body attachments and drawer fronts made of matt carbon with a striking 45-degree carbon fiber structure. This sophisticated surface treatment emphasizes the aircraft's modern design DNA and demonstrates F/LIST's expertise in working with high-quality composite materials. Further exclusive details include two cup holders with brushed metal inserts, which create a subtle, luxurious feel. The console also features two storage compartments with leather-covered flaps. Inside, there are custom-fit holders for an iPhone and an iPad, combining elegant design with thoughtful functionality.

For series production, the components are expected to be manufactured using an advanced monocoque construction method involving autoclave technology. This process ensures exceptional stability combined with minimal weight, offering a decisive advantage for helicopter applications. In the area of CMF (color, material, finish), end customers can choose from a wide range of high-quality and sustainable materials to create individual configurations, in line with ACH's tailor-made luxury philosophy.

on 23.03.2024 at the age of 76 after a serious illness passed away. This loss hits us all hard and leaves a painful gap, not only in his family and our organization, but also in the world of exclusive exclusive interior design.
Franz List's vision took us from a modest carpentry shop founded by his father in 1950 to a globally recognized company. His leadership, his love of the craft and his innovative spirit have made F/LIST what it is today.

He will be greatly missed.
