F/LIST is expanding its product range to include interiors for corporate helicopters, thereby establishing unique expertise for the entire aerospace industry
F/LIST, the Austrian pioneer in high-end aircraft cabin interiors, is marking a significant milestone at the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2026 (Booth 6B62) by officially expanding its production and support capabilities into the corporate helicopter sector. With this move, F/LIST now seamlessly supports its customers across corporate helicopters, business and private jets, high-quality cabin solutions for commercial aviation, and private residences. Under the F/YACHTING brand, the group is also active in the yacht segment, while the joint venture HILITECH expands F/LIST’s capabilities with innovative lightweight construction and composite technologies.

“Expanding into the helicopter interiors sector is the logical next step for F/LIST,” says Michael Müller, Managing Director of F/LIST Aviation. “Many of our customers operate across multiple demanding interior environments simultaneously. With this addition, we can now support them throughout their entire ecosystem—in the air, on land, or at sea—and deliver the same level of creativity, technological innovation, advanced materials technology, and consistent craftsmanship in every space. This provides customers with a single point of contact for all their interior acquisition needs.”
Following its debut in commercial aviation at AIX 2025, F/LIST now covers the entire aviation spectrum, supplying high-quality materials for premium airlines, business aircraft, and, as of now, corporate helicopters as well. The company’s trade show presence sends a clear message: F/LIST aims to create cohesive, sophisticated cabin experiences for every form of flight.
In addition, F/LIST is celebrating the trade show debut of Lightshifter, the latest transformative innovation from its in-house innovation hub, F/LAB. Lightshifter transforms wood veneer surfaces and reveals integrated lighting technology at the touch of a button. This creates unexpected, textured design elements and striking visual effects throughout the cabin. When the feature is deactivated, the veneer seamlessly returns to its original appearance, leaving no visible traces of the lighting technology.
“With Lightshifter, we are responding to the growing demand for immersive and adaptable cabin environments,” explains Müller.“The technology enables designers to create striking bulkheads, monuments, or feature walls without having to compromise on weight, space, or material integrity. This approach is equally suitable for VIP helicopters, business jets, and premium cabins in commercial aviation.”
F/LIST demonstrates how real stone can be transformed into lightweight, high-performance, and stylish solutions for premium cabins.
F/LIST also presents its Real Wood Veneer 65/65 technology, the industry’s first wood veneer that is fully compliant with heat release standards. Lightweight and fully certified for use in commercial aviation, it conveys the warmth, depth, and sensory qualities of real wood. Finished with a natural oil-based coating using a low-VOC varnish, the veneer can be customized to reflect brand identity, origin, or location.
The F/LAB Stone Inlay will also be on display, showcasing how real stone can be integrated into lightweight, certified applications for high-end cabins, combining natural elegance with technical performance.
The AIX also serves as a platform for a new lighting collaboration that reimagines reading lights as high-quality design elements within the cabin interior. The SCHOTT® Opal Reading Light series, based on the SCHOTT® Opal Terra platform, integrates F/LIST’s customizable natural surfaces—including wood and stone—directly into the luminaire housing. Building on F/LIST’s expertise in veneers and surface finishing, the designs can be precisely tailored to seat materials and color schemes, either subtly integrated into the cabin architecture or deliberately used as a striking design accent.
Together, these innovations demonstrate how F/LIST Premium redefines interiors and creates immersive, sustainable, and fully customizable environments that elevate the customer experience at every touchpoint.
