F/LIST expands its presence in North America with new facilities in Ft. Lauderdale.

Today, Austria-based F/LIST, a pioneer in the production and development of innovative luxury interiors for exclusive business and private jets and residences, officially opened its fourth North American location in Davie, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The new location, chosen to be closer to the growing customer base in South Florida and to further support the growing client list throughout North America, complements existing F/LIST locations in Denver, CO and Montreal, QC and becomes the latest addition to a global network of ten locations.

The new facility consists of two independent properties. The 1,070 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility in Davie includes a materials selection area to showcase its award-winning materials, a design showroom, upholstery studio, cabinetry shop and an advanced paint booth to meet specialized painting needs. Complementing the full facility and just a 30-minute drive away, a secondary 158-square-foot shop is located at Executive Airport Fort Lauderdale to optimize customer services and improve delivery efficiency for customers at the airport.

 

F/LIST USA FLORIDA reflects the company's commitment to high production standards and quality customer service and offers a comprehensive range of services. For private aviation customers, this ranges from minor cosmetic repairs to leather, veneer and cabin refurbishments to complete cabin interior designs. For owners and managers of luxury residences, boutique hotels and exclusive interiors, F/LIST's global business creates individually crafted pieces ranging from custom furniture to complete interior renovations.

The new operation will be led by F/LIST veteran Stefan Rust, who brings extensive company and industry knowledge and experience to the Ft Lauderdale operation, having most recently held the position of Managing Director for F/LIST Dubai. Rust will initially lead a team of 13 employees, including an in-house designer, a team of specialist craftsmen and a commercial unit. The workforce is expected to double in the first quarter of 2024 to strengthen support for the needs of new and existing clients.

It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our chairman and visionary of F/LIST, Franz List, passed away on Saturday at the age of 76 after a serious illness. This loss hits us all hard and leaves a painful void, not only in his family and our organization, but also in the world of exclusive interior design.

Franz List's vision took us from a modest carpentry shop founded by his father in 1950 to a globally recognized company. His leadership, his love of the craft and his innovative spirit have made F/LIST what it is today.

He will be greatly missed.
