F/LIST premieres in the commercial aviation sector at AIX 2025 with innovative materials and redefines premium cabin interiors

F/LIST, the Austrian pioneer for innovative luxury design, will be presenting its portfolio of fine materials for premium cabins in the commercial aviation sector for the first time at AIX 2025. The focus is on the F/LAB Stone Inlaywhich will be presented to the commercial market for the first time - as part of an exclusive material portfolio for cabin interiors at stand 6B62. The F/LAB Stone Inlay combines state-of-the-art technology with traditional craftsmanship to create an aviation-grade product, adding elegance and exceptional functionality to business and first-class cabins with genuine natural stone.

F/LAB Stone Inlay - elegant natural stone design for cabin interiors on a new level

The fully certified F/LAB Stone Inlay, which is designed to withstand high loads in heavily frequented cabins, is particularly resistant to scratches, liquids and chemicals. The only 2.5 mm thin stone layer minimizes the weight and at the same time ensures an elegant look and a high-quality customer experience.

The fully customizable F/LAB Stone Inlay can be used on both flat and curved surfaces and integrated into a wide variety of cabin elements - including table inserts, seat shells, work surfaces, partitions, integrated charging systems and more. The fine stone layer can be backlit to create atmospheric lighting accents or serve as an eye-catcher in first-class suites. Customers can choose from a variety of stone types, colors, textures and engraving techniques, opening up almost limitless design possibilities.

"More and more airlines want to stand out from the competition with extraordinary design. Our established material portfolio is perfectly aligned with this trend. With our elegant, natural products, we want to help airlines redefine the customer experience in premium and first-class cabins," says Anita Gradwohl, Group Director Sales at F/LIST. Managing Director Michael Müller adds: "The F/LAB Stone Inlay is an example of how we creatively transform natural materials into functional, high-quality solutions that take the cabin ambience to a new level. Together with our customers, airlines and design studios, we develop visually impressive high-end materials that also meet the highest requirements in terms of durability, hygiene and weight."

In line with F/LIST's commitment to sustainability and the aviation industry's environmental goals, the F/LAB innovation center has developed a clever portfolio of bio-based materials that support the path to a CO₂-neutral future. In addition to the F/LAB Stone Inlay, F/LIST will also be presenting F/LAB Aenigma, F/LAB Whisper Leather and F/LAB Natural Oil at AIX - all products are in line with F/LIST's sustainable philosophy in terms of production, material selection and weight efficiency. This responsible approach reduces waste and underlines the company's commitment to sustainable innovation.

on 23.03.2024 at the age of 76 after a serious illness passed away. This loss hits us all hard and leaves a painful gap, not only in his family and our organization, but also in the world of exclusive exclusive interior design.
Franz List's vision took us from a modest carpentry shop founded by his father in 1950 to a globally recognized company. His leadership, his love of the craft and his innovative spirit have made F/LIST what it is today.

He will be greatly missed.
